POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW
Keck Graduate Institute (KGI)
invites applications for one postdoctoral position in the area of biosignal
processing. The successful candidate will join a new research group that
is applying machine learning to physiologic signals to enable diagnosis of
various conditions. Specifically, the candidate will 1) set up an
experimental apparatus for drowsiness monitoring, 2) conduct drowsiness
experiments, and 3) use the experimental data to develop an automated
drowsiness detection algorithm.
The candidate must have a PhD in
Biomedical Engineering or Bioengineering, and have graduated from a biosystems
or equivalent track, with a minimum GPA of 3.5. Dissertation must be
based on a physiologic signal, with associated noise minimization, pattern
recognition, prediction, or classification algorithm development. The
candidate must have previous Matlab or LabVIEW (preferred) programming
experience.
