Job Qualifications
Applicants should hold a Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in
biology, biochemistry, or a similar field of study or the
equivalent in education, training and experience. One year of
research laboratory experience is preferred. Experience working
with mice will be helpful. Basic skills in molecular biology and
tissue culture techniques are required.
Job Description
We are looking to hire a full-time Research Technician B. The
technician will provide general laboratory support including
ordering and maintaining laboratory supplies, chemicals, and
equipment, general assistance with mouse genotyping, and preparing
buffer solutions. The technician may also participate in cancer
research investigating the molecular mechanisms of novel
anti-cancer drugs, and may assist with a variety of laboratory
procedures in cellular and molecular biology, including tissue
culture maintenance, DNA, RNA, and protein isolation, PCR analysis,
Western blot analysis, computer analysis, and data collection. The
