DATA ANALYST
Part Time Casual (10 to 20 Hours Weekly)
Department: Radiology/Hatch Research Center
Job Description: Perform image processing and analysis of magnetic resonance
imaging (MRI) datasets for research related to lupus and malaria studies.
Responsibilities include use of image processing software packages such as
Statistical Parametric Mapping (SPM) for image registration and segmentation,
as well as running Matlab scripts for additional histogram and statistical
analysis.
Qualifications/Requirements: The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s or
Master’s degree in an engineering or science discipline, have a basic
understanding of digital image processing concepts, and be proficient in MatLab
programming. Knowledge of MRI is a plus.
