Welcome to the Department of Biomedical Engineering
The Department of Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University offers both graduate and ABET-accredited undergraduate programs. Our Department is also home to world-class researchers in the fields of cell and tissue engineering, biomechanics, and biomedical imaging. Our main office is located in the Engineering Terrace in the northeast corner of the Morningside Heights campus, although we occupy teaching and research space on both the Morningside Heights and Columbia Medical School campuses.
