Post-doc Warren Grayson Wins the Mandl Connective Tissue Research Fellowship
Working with Professor Vunjak-Novakovic, post-doctoral fellow Warren Grayson has won the Mandl Connective Tissue Research Fellowship for a proposal to develop a tissue-engineering model of the epiphyseal growth plate, and an ORS Career Development Fellowship Award, presented to him at the 53rd Annual ORS Meeting in San Diego, California, for a proposal to create vascularized tissue-engineered bone grafts.
Post-doc Pen-hsiu Grace Chao Wins the Arthritis Foundation Post-doctoral Fellowship
Post-doc Pen-hsiu Grace Chao, working with Gordana Vunjak-Novakovic, won the two-year Arthritis Foundation Post-doctoral Fellowship, for her work on chemical an topological regulation of chondrogenesis in human mesenchymal stem cells.
Post-doc Darja Marolt Wins the New York Stem Cell Foundation Research Award
Post-doc Darja Marolt, working with Gordana Vunjak-Novakovic, won the three-year award from the New York Stem Cell Foundation for research on tissue engineering of vascularized bone from human embryonic stem cells.
