Professors Barclay Morrison and Peter Bergold (PI, SUNY Downstate Medical Center) are recipients of a Traumatic Brain Injury Concept Award funded through the FY07 Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program. The goal of the research is to identify a promising combination therapy for treating traumatic brain injury through an innovative synergy of in vitro and pre-clinical screening strategies.
